i went to the sit last week, these are the key points:
1.opera house was built high enough to survive the 5m water level rise.
only the lower level (opera bar and underground parking) will be affected
macquarie st (street level of opera house), is also situated high enough above new water level
2. 5 meters are below the platform ground at CQ platform station
3. only the walkways around CQ are affected. MCA museum and quay grand suites (the buildings on the left and right side of cq respectively) has other access on the other site of the street. (george st, the rocks and macquarie st) so most likely the activities in these buildings won't be disrupted
